Shipping & Return Policy:
All shells, sealife, jewelry & home decor sold at Scarborough Seashells are of the highest quality. We want you to be happy with your purchases, if something needs our attention, please, let us know!
All items sold at Scarborough Seashells are in stock at the time of purchase. Due to the fragile nature of our products, on a rare occasion, a piece may become damaged. If this happens, we will contact you immediately to make arrangements for a substitute or a full refund.
We will happily accept returns/exchanges within 30 days of purchase. If a suitable replacement cannot be made, we will refund your purchase price and original shipping costs.
We are sorry, but return shipping fees and insurance (if you opt to purchase it) are non-refundable.
All refunds will be given in the form of original payment. *A note about special orders, expedited shipping and time sensitive purchases: Please contact us PRIOR to placing your order if you need to receive it by a certain date (i.e. gift purchases) so we can insure that you receive your item before your deadline. We are happy to ship via USPS Express Mail (overnight) for any orders that must arrive the next day. Please email or call us to discuss so we can adjust shipping charges accordingly. We do not accept returns on items that USPS shows as "attempted to deliver, notice left" if you are not there to receive your package at the predetermined date and time. We make every attempt to ship your items promptly. If you need an item for a specific event, please be available at your home or place of business to accept your package. Thank you!
To make a return or exchange, you must contact us prior to sending your item(s) back.
All returns must be in original condition/include original retail packaging where applicable. Please include your transaction number with your return to expedite the refund/exchange process.
We ship Monday through Friday. All stock items -such as craft shells- will ship within 48 hours of payment. Handmade items such as custom jewelry pieces, ornaments and handpainted wine glasses are made to order and will ship within 2 weeks of purchase. Please see individual item descriptions for complete details. Stock items paid for before 5pm ET will ship the next business day. (Friday payments received after 8am ET will ship the following Monday)
We ship via USPS for most items. Some heavier items may ship via UPS Ground to save you money. Shipping method will be indicated via email correspondence.
